Sheehy Auto Stores is dedicated to providing training across all departments and at all levels. We also encourage our employees to seek out learning opportunities which are often sponsored and subsidized by Sheehy. Among our training classes are the following:
Management Development Program:
We ask you so start by selling cars for six months on the showroom floor and then we will promote you to a Mentor position. As a Mentor you will act as an assistant manager in training and managing our newly hired sales people. You will hold this position for approximately twelve months and then you will be promoted to Internet Manager, Sales Manager or Finance Manager providing that you demonstrate strong leadership qualities.
Sales Training:
This five day training class is among the best in the automotive industry for entry level sales people. In this training class you will learn how to sell new and used vehicles, and how to develop a customer base that will guarantee you a successful career in automotive sales for years to come.
You will learn how to:

- Discover the customer's wants and needs
- Select the right vehicle for your customer
- Provide a feature presentation and demonstration
- Offer all customers a Purchase/Lease proposal
- Discuss buying concerns
- Finalize sales related paperwork

- Achieve a high Customer Satisfaction Index
- Follow up for building a customer base
- Professionally handle incoming Sales calls
Ten Plus One Training:
This one day training session is required for all experienced sales people who are not required to attend our Sales Training Class and for all Sales Managers and Finance Managers that are new to Sheehy Auto Stores.This session provides a full orientation to the Sheehy Selling System as well as Policy and Procedure as it relates to legal compliance.
Technical Training:
In today's complex world of manufacturing, our technicians need to be constantly trained on new technologies and repair options. We provide paid training to all technicians attending either on- site or off-site training classes, generally in concert with our manufacturer.
Service Advisor Training:
Our service advisors receive regular training, both in-house and from the manufacturer. Training for our Advisors is generally focused on sales, communication, phone and process skills.
